I went with a friend to The Canadian Brewhouse & Grill without making a reservation. We were seated near the front door on a rainy Saturday. The atmosphere at CBH is welcoming, as there is an Inukskuk outside the restaurant, fantastic First Nations totem poles and carvings at the front entrance and along the walls, and creative decorations, such as beer can-assortment wall inserts. The volume level was unbelievably quiet. It felt like we were attending a cribbage night at an old folks home. Perhaps some live music or the addition of a pool table could liven up the atmosphere. The drinks were tasty and well-presented. The bartender applied the perfect amount of liquor or wine base, and ice. The food was not good. Although the regular nachos and the garlic fingers were nice and warm, the nacho chips seemed tired and stale, the toppings offered no bite, and the presentation was questionable. The jalapenos were fresh from the grocery store, so they tasted like green pepper. I prefer pickled hot jalapeno slices to add some flavor. The salsa and guacamole were dull. The service was awesome. Our server was beyond kind, as she validated my free garlic fingers promo for downloading the app, and she also agreed to give us a full discount for the nachos, although the promo code did not appear on the app.

Sports bar big time. And if you know me I love sports! All of em! But I have a special place for golf that’s for sure. TV dot the walls and it’s got a hockey rink vibe. Overall decor was Canadian to the max! The menu was a bit confusing in the sense I had a hard time picking out what was what. The layout is poorly written and I didn’t like the fonts. I dunno why but I have not reviewed a menu ever. Settled on the Chicken Parm ( non baked version) as I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. It was good. Actually really good. My wife had her staple burger and powered back like a champ. Fries were crinkle cut which is unique. Our niece had the Buffalo wrap and it looked solid. It would be super fun place with friends during the game and I can imagine it busy and noisy.

I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap with Catus fries, my husband tried the Smokey Maple Burger with poutine and tankers of Coors. To finish it ll off, a dessert poutine....Yummy!! Brooklyn was our waitress, great sense of humor and friendly :) Brewhouse is a definite staple restaurant for us.

This is a sports fans gem. Always have sports on display, on the TVs, and sports memorabilia everywhere. The food is always good and fresh. The beer is cold and thirst quenching. The Canadian Brewhouse rarely disappoints. We will always come home to the brewhouse!

Stopped in for a quick bite, sat at the bar the place was hopping. One server and a bartender was the only staff I could see. Ashley was the servers name, she was serving a larger party 10+ and 13 tables plus 7 seated at the bar. Kudos to the server, she was on her game, never missed a beat. Checking on everyone as she passed by, she was so impressive to watch. I hope you know how valuable she is to your company and that you treat her right. She was an amazing server and just to watch her in her element. You better make sure no one steals her because you would need more than one person to replace her.

My daughter and I stopped here on our way home from Vancouver. We used to go to The Brewhouse in Grande Prairie years ago, before we moved to Okanagan. We were going to just grab fast food until my daughter saw the Brewhose. Despite the 4.5-hour drive ahead and the dark coming, we stopped on purely sentimental reasons. I'm so glad we did! We were greeted by a wonderful young lady named Elizabeth. She was warm and funny, and we enjoyed an immediate rapport. We chatted for a couple minutes and laughed a few times. She has a great sense of humor! We ordered drinks and food and all it came very quickly, which was awesome because we wanted to get on the road again soon. Our drinks were a Jager Caesar and a tequila with soda and lime juice. We ordered 3 appies, the jalapeños, hotyaki wings and the pickles. They came hot and perfectly done. Our time there was short, but sweet and the bill wasn't too huge. All in all, a great visit. Thank you to Elizabeth for such wonderful service!

Honestly we used to enjoy going here but this last visit was horrible. We waited at the hostess station for a bit and then our waitress waved us over from the bar. She seemed super rushed to get our orders to the fact that she was not personable at all. Our food took forever and we had to ask for salt, pepper and ketchup. We ordered the fish and chips with 2 pieces. There was so much batter it was almost inedible. The game was on and it was so loud we could hardly talk to each other. We will not be returning

Bartender was awesome, no complaints! Food was not the Brewhouse’s standard. Atmosphere was alright for a game night! I will come back to see if there’s any improvement on food on a different day!!!
