Wij hebben het verblijf volledig afgehuurd met onze dansvrienden. We hebben genoten van vrijdagavond tot zondagmiddag in deze prachtige accommodatie. Vriendelijke eigenaars die ongemerkt naast de B&B wonen en ervoor zorgen dat je niets tekort komt. Kortom een aanrader

What an absolute gem! We stayed here for a night on our way back from Germany to the UK and were so happy to have found this place just outside the motorway ring around Brussels. It is very easy to get to and ideally located just about 2 hours from Calais.

When we arrived after an 8-hour drive from Germany, we were exhausted and hungry. Luckily the lovely hosts offered us a pizza and thus saved us another drive to the nearby town for dinner.

The rooms are very cosy and well-equipped with everything you might expect. There isn't a TV in the room (but there is one in the communal area downstairs), but we didn't mind, as we came for the tranquility of this place to get a good rest before our onward journey.

Since this place was designed with the environment in mind and being as economical as possible, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. When we arrived it was a bit warm, which meant that we had to sleep with an open window, which in turn meant the mosquitoes were eating us alive. If anything, this is the only small negative I found here. Perhaps a fan in the rooms would help for the warm summer nights?

The continental breakfast was plentiful and so tasty. The bread was absolutely delicious and the selection of spreads, cheese and ham was sufficient. There was also a good selection of muesli and oats along with yoghurt and fresh fruits. Eggs are prepared fresh for each guest. We were offered a choice of boiled, scrambled (with or without bacon strips) or fried eggs. The scrambled eggs with bacon I ordered was seasoned well and prepared like an omelette. Orange juice is pressed freshly by the hosts as well.

Overall this was an outstanding experience and we'll definitely keep Het Verblijf in mind for our next journey across the continent.

Prachtige locatie, zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk, heerlijk en vers ontbijt, mooie en verzorgde kamers … een absolute aanrader! Een rustpunt aan de rand van Brussel.

Excelente hospedaje a 15 min de Bruselas. (40 min en bus) en zona rural, muy tranquilo y perfecto para caminar por los alrededores.
Las habitaciones estan muy bien, limpias y comodas.
Desayuno completo y natural.
Los dueños son muy amables y nos recibieron calidamente. Sin duda volveriamos a hospedarnos aqui.

We zijn hier in januari 2023 met drie personen geweest. We zijn naar het Harry Potter experience bos geweest. Dat ligt hier 4.5 kilometer vandaan. Daarvoor was het een prima plekje. Het verblijf is een oude verbouwde boerderij uit 1700. De kamers zijn heel stijlvol. Oude balken zijn nog zichtbaar. De verzorging is geweldig. Alles vers en heerlijk. Kortom een aanrader!

Miste enkel televisie op kamer na zware weekdage te hebben moeten volgen.
Service is er wel top en 2 mensen die het heel graag doen en het u daar heel gemakkelijk willen maken.
Iedereen die eens houd van een b&b moet zeker is gaan. 1 minpuntje, ben gewoon van men tv op kamer te hebben
Anders heel leuke licatie. Valt vanalles te doen.
