School was never my favorite, but here it is completely different, with an active pedagogy and coaches helping you along the way. Even if I have to admit there were some tough moments and a decent amount of pressure, I enjoyed it from start to end.

I started this course with 0 experience whatsoever. 2 months later, I understood how to actually make and create a weather app. A few weeks after that a small browser game. Next one was a website where I could log in, use a database, create a list of products to order and many more things.

My point: I learned a LOT, had amazing support from my coaches. Amazing class-environment.
I felt and actually saw myself grow!

Becode challenges not only your skills but also your mindset concerning coding and self learning. Through the course I learned to adapt to new technologies, languages, etc. very quikly because of the way you are guided, coached and helped.

Entering the course with a fun and enthousiastic group definitely helped during the course when the tempo and new information can seem quite overwhelming. You are coached from starter exercises all the way through to building apps, managing data and databases, connecting them to bigger projects and working with professionally used frameworks. The daily presentation by groupmembers also helps you develop your social, public speaking and research skills.

At the end of the course you are encouraged and coached to find an internship, IBO contract or fulltime job so you can start your developer or web related career as soon as possible. Tips & tricks, best practises, workshops and even mock interviews to prepare you for the jobhunt are a more than weekly occurence and increase your self-esteem dramatically when applying for jobs.

I was able to start a new fulltime job in the field right after finishing the course, and would definitely recommend Becode to anyone who is interested in coding or thinks of switching careers.

TDLR: Becode is a competent and broad course with professional coaching that helped me hone and appreciate my coding, learning and social skills that got my career in coding started.

I followed the web dev class here recently to see if coding really would be my thing after coming to a crisis in my professional life. Once I got accepted they offered great challenges and guidance throughout the trajectory, helping me find a new professional challenge into the IT-branche. The balance between self learning, asking for help, explain others in class how it works has been really helpful to keep committed to this intense bootcamp. There's so much more to learn still (it is a continuous evolving innovating sector), but they primarily focused on giving a solid base of the most common full stack syntaxes and best practices. The fact you're in it as a team and the coaches approach your problems always positively so you find yourself accepting failure and the fresh energy to try again and try harder.

I desperately needed a change of pace in my career, and that's how i joined BeCode. I left my 10 years of retail behind and went for the exiciting challenge as a front-end developer.

After 7 months of this extensive bootcamp, i can tell you the following ;

BeCode made learning fun again. They challenged me on multiple levels, and they helped me to re-invent myself. They treat you as adults, and give you the needed room to independently grow as a professional in a completely new field. All tools are provided, and you apply your knowledge in solo- or groupprojects.

What i have learned in this period goes beyond words. I would summarise it as the perfect starter pack for the current job market . They gave me the needed skills and confidence to go out there and look for my first job. They did a great job in motivating me to keep learning and keep applying new skills in my projects. I also want to add that NEVER have seen this traffic on my LinkedIn, as the BeCode platform is very credible and desired in the professional world.

A Becodian is adaptable, has willpower and goes all the way to reach the desired result. So i assure you, after finishing this bootcamp, companies will love to see your appliance.

You will need patience and willpower, and there will be moments where you want to give up. But when you think about it, this is a chance of a lifetime as this knowledge normally takes multiple years of studying in college or university. I never looked back, and i'm very proud of what i learned here.

If you are eager to learn development in general, AI or data, i highly recommend BeCode ! The coaches are amazing, and the community is warm, diverse and very welcoming !

P.S : if you are someone who likes to call devs depressing nerds because you failed the class, then i suggest not to apply , and certainly not look for a front-end developer job on your LinkedIn. Makes sense right ?

Its 6-months intensive web development course. In the beginning, it was very enthusiastic and good atmosphere. But unfortunately no proactive coaching in place, which is really pity. I wish there were experienced trainers/mentors to support and educate students in this course😢

What a sad sod environment and teaching program.

Our coaches personality could be best described as a piece of half cooked spaghetti.

Sad and depressing, that is all I take away from my experience at becode.
Better off googling and on top of that, not a very exciting career path.

Sit infront of a computer all day with a group of nerds clicking keys and googling😅 how depressing.
